Recent project was making this short video of NZ’s top selling art prints for NZ Prints. Most useful lesson – allow a finite amount of time to make the video. Making it as perfect as you can with a deadline is more productive than an open ended project that is not released until every tiny detail is completed to plan.

Is Twitter going to be useful for New Zealand business or is it a fad? In my day job I have been delighted to have generated some extra business and made some good contacts using Twitter – you can follow us at NZPrints. However the downside is the distraction that comes from following other people who post lots of interesting links!
Even if Twitter turns out to be a fad or a step toward something more significant I think it is worthwhile for New Zealand business owners or professionals to spend time marketing themselves or their products via Twitter. It is not just about promoting what you offer it is also a great way to keep up with what other people are saying about topics that are important to you to.
